Sneaker Rebuilds and UpCycling

Upcycled sneakers

New life to a Favourite pair of Sneakers!

Theres something so special about your favourite pair of sneakers. A huge part of the value we attribute to our footwear are the memories, experiences, and major milestones we achieved while wearing these pairs of shoes! The sentimentality that is associated with these incredibly unique, broken in, and emotionally special shoes makes these perfect for Upcycling and Rebuilding.

We often rebuild sneakers to simply make them last longer, but in addition to this work, we can also customize the look (colours, leathers, soles,  etc.), the construction method (glued, blake stitched, goodyear welted, and stitchdown) , and the function of these shoes (casual, hiking, work, cycling, etc).

Reach out to us via email if this is something youd like to know more about! Send us some photos of your shoes in their current condition and what you are inspired to do!

Sneaker Cupsoles and ReTreading

Currently some of the best sneaker cupsoles available to us are the Margom Cupsoles made out of Italy. Often found on high end sneaker brands like Common Projects, these soles offer a minimal look, solid rubber composition, durable bottoms, and the ability to be removed and replaced as it gets worn out. They come in a range of colour options, and can be customized with additional treads on the bottom! We prefer to not only glue the soles in place, but to also stitch the walls.

Margom Sole Colours are:

White, Cream, Grey, Black, Navy, and Gum!

Upcycling the Construction Method

Stitchdown, Goodyear, or Blake Rapid

Many sneakers are not made with the thought of rebuilding/resoling in mind. Because of this, a lot of the sneakers we see are a variation of a glued construction. One of the biggest upgrades that can be done to a pair of Upcycled sneakers is to change its construction method. Meaning, rebuilding the shoes to now have either a Stitchdown, a Goodyear Welt, or even a Blake Rapid Construction.
